Rodrigo Prestes Machado
Rodrigo Prestes Machado holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Catholic University of Pelotas (UCPel, 2001), a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio, 2005), and a PhD in Computer Science and Education from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS, 2019). Since 2010, he has been a professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS), Porto Alegre Campus. In 2024, he also joined the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), Spain, as an Honorary Professor. His current research interest lies in the development of systems based on generative artificial intelligence to enhance learning experiences and improve academic outcomes.
